Use the Tumblr tool to back up your blog. If anything should happen, you will have a folder on your hard drive that can use restore it or to tell what was there. This link is for the Tumblr backup tool for Mac. There should be one for a PC too.
I’ve been hit with some Tumblr copyright removals. However once they delete an image, I can’t even tell what it was because only the text remains. I always honor requests to remove or link images, but once Tumblr pulls it, I don’t even know what it was.
By backing up your blog, at least you will have a record of it.
